Welcome to Dutch Heritage Cosmetics, where tradition, nature, and a touch of quirkiness come together. No big teams. No investors. Just one woman, a kitchen, some pots of tallow, and an idea that got a little out of hand.
How it started
In 2021, I — Bianca — began making skincare in my own kitchen. It started out small, but demand grew quickly. By 2023, we moved into our first studio space, but within six months it was too small. We relocated to a beautiful 180 m² workspace in Kortenhoef, surrounded by farms and peace. Everything is still handmade here, from tallow creams to soaps, deodorants and sunscreens.
What we make
Our skincare is rooted in one of the oldest beauty traditions in the world: pasture-raised animal fat. We combine this with carefully selected organic ingredients, sourced directly from farmers and trusted suppliers. We give agricultural byproducts a second life as luxury skincare – good for your skin, and better for the planet.
All handmade. All in-house.
Product formulations? Me.
Label design and printing? Also me.
Website building, photography, copywriting? Still me.
Every jar is hand-labeled and filled right here.
Order shipping is handled by a fulfillment center now – because it just got too busy – but the rest stays handcrafted and personal.
Meet Bianca
I'm Bianca, born in Naarden, living in Soest, and running Dutch Heritage Cosmetics from Kortenhoef. I live an animal-based lifestyle, love a good steak and plenty of eggs, and in my free time you’ll find me reading books or lost in the stillness of nature.
I adore traveling, live with three crazy cats, and I'm a self-proclaimed conspiracy enthusiast.
You can tell me the wildest stories – I don't judge.
You won’t find me in supermarkets. I believe in supporting our farmers directly – and through DHC, you do too.
Thanks for being here. This little dream of mine wouldn’t be the same without you.
